Moscato margarita

Moscato Margarita

I do love a classic margarita with salt around the rim, but come Christmas time, or just a hot summer day, a Moscato Margarita really hits the spot. This cocktail by the folks at Holm Oak in Tasmania uses a lovely floral moscato as the base of the summery drink. And the sugar and fresh strawberries are a welcome touch in the pretty pink tipple, too.

This Moscato margarita cocktail uses Holm Oak Tasmania‘s Pig & d’Pooch Moscato. This is a refreshing and complex Moscato. The nose shows the classic floral and musk stick aromas that this variety is known for, but also has added spice flavours as a result of the extra skin contact. Note the cute label!
